..My Story…

I know how it feels to know deep down you’re meant for more, and to have all the tools at your fingertips – yet still struggle to feel confident, aligned, and in your power. 

After years of chronic frustration, lackluster experiences, loss, and heartbreaks in my personal, professional and romantic life… I was disconnected from the inspired and energetic life of passion, impact, epic love, self-worth, confidence, and full self expression I had dreamt of creating for myself.

No matter how much hard work and patience (and even pleading) I poured into my relationships, respect and value I advocated for, “higher” wisdom and guidance I sought (from my parents, bosses, therapist, friends, etc), focus I put into my financial and future goals, and even dedication I devoted to my veggie filled “healthy” diet and active life… nothing seemed to work.

And trust me, I’ve tried it all…

Natural healers, Raw foods, tantra courses, yoga, biz courses, meditation, certifications, Obsessive hours “working on (all the wrong parts of) my biz”, self help & development podcasts, cleanses, guru’s, Nature bathing, therapy, vision boarding, law of attraction, social media, mystical poetry, self advocacy and standing for my ground (from old paradigm), countless free and paid online programs, rituals, moving from place to place; travel – country to country, studying with shamanic & traditional healers, plant medicines, planning  and more planning, coloring  books, netflix, getting partners in passion, website tweaking, making resolves to approach things differently, hours spent trying to put it all together or to figure it all out… College training, POST-college training… Post-post college trainings. Hanging with other entrepreneurs and social creators and yogi’s, moving to LA… 

None of it was enough, and nothing seemed to click.

I was still wasn’t living my truth or purposed destiny I deeply knew my life was meant for. Something was STILL holding me back from getting free of the cycle to stay safe and – frankly –  only visible enough to trick myself into thinking I was doing everything – though in reality, I was still in my zone of safety, and smallness. 

I struggled to find, truly, what I was seeking or needed…To fill in the gap, make the connections, and finally break free from falling back into old – and even generational – patterns, frustration, lack, and smallness… And lacking a real embodied sense of power, confidence, and worth, and feeling safe to be truly happy and expressed and standing for my unusual – but important –  beliefs in the world.

Even though I was well educated, travelled, cultured, caring, skilled, smart, and aiming toward building something truly meaningful, abundant, fruitful, & effective…

I didn’t have a solid plan, map, or the right guidance to create the life of prosperity on ALL accounts – in love, relationships, finances, life, passion mission, impact and dreams I wanted and knew was possible… somehow…  and had no reason to believe could not be in my destiny.

I found myself increasingly unable to bear the weighty and devastating disappointment of feeling undervalued, unmet, and like no matter how hard I was trying, things just weren’t clicking.

I was depleted and my health, pep and bubbly energy was all but gone… I was diagnosed by my functional nutrition & chiropractor doc with “adrenal fatigue”, parasites picked up from my travels, allergies from out of now where, and potentially leaky gut. Needless to say, my physical health was compromised along with it – my spirit too.  I was bouncing from place to place and not finding a stable home, the next level relationship I envisioned for myself, or the impact I craved (and knew the world was in desperate need of).

I really wasn’t certain why… Or how, exactly, to turn it all around.

Deep down, I knew I was meant to make a difference and that I was meant for so much more…

I had a lot to offer, I just needed to find the magic formula of how to bring all the pieces together so I could rise to and provide for the truly overflowing, happy, wholesome, balanced, expressed, integrated, powerful, and impactful woman I wanted – and knew – I was always supposed to be.

But how?

The answer finally came to me when the Universe concurred and orchestrated a profound and affirming wake up call.

On Dec. 24, 2009, on a calm and sunny tropical midmorning in the jungle of rural Costa Rica, I was suddenly overcome with an intensely warm wave that led me to pass out and slip into a supremely blissful near-death experience.

Gasping for breath as I came back into my body, I realized that I had been searching for my power outside of me my entire life.

Somewhere along the way, I had stopped trusting my truths and became lost to my own agency to create in accordance with my own pleasure, joy, divinity, desires, and worth as the highest guides to my destiny – and as a result – I became lost to my own light.

I had lost touch with what made me truly turn-on and come alive.

I was looking toward others (my boss, my partner, etc) to respond to my bids to honor my requests, and when they weren’t, I simply tried harder, believing that hard work is what yields results, vs the deeper truth that alignment and energy are what yields natural ease, abundance, prosperity, and fulfillment.

From that moment on, I committed my life to reclaiming my Self. My knowing. My agency. My truths and inner guidance. My sovereignty. Everything I was put on this earth to experience, know, actualize, and become.

I committed to finding my way back to my pleasure, passion, love, creativity, inherent value, even my expression and art.

I recommitted to claiming both my outer and inner dreams, to do whatever it would take to be of service the way Nature had planned for me to with my unique set of passions, talents, strengths, curiosities, and traits… And to create a fulfilling life and livelihood that would light me up and allow me to do the extraordinary. To truly follow my heart – not just as a desire, but as my destiny.

And things began to change…

I got my power back.

I got back my radiance, joy, zest and dance of life.

In fact, I got it to a whole new level! I started getting noticed for the brightness I exuded and others began asking me to teach them what I was doing so they could do it too. And in all that, I found my way …

And now, as I continue in newer depths, realities, and unleashing of radiant truths…
