If you’re not on the turmeric train yet, it just might make a bit of sense, you know, like if you’re Human. Heal yourself and take responsibility to stay at your best ~ ALLOW YOUR LIGHT TO REALLY SHINE (because my-

my is it beautiful!)
Turmeric has been used for thousands of years to support the optimal functioning and healing of a great number of health issues. I just learned this week, as a dear friend came to me for help after experiencing painful gallstones, that it may help to stimulate bile in the system therefore helping digestion. I take it, in particular, to help keep my liver clean which is related to the health of the skin and controlling acne. I’ve got Dad on it now in particular because he twisted his knee and is anxious to get back to his Zumba routine (yes, you heard me right)! I’m glad because it may help keep him off his cholesterol meds, and well, there’s a history of heart disease in my family.
It’s known as an anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, anti-bacterial and so much more. Take it once a day to support regular health and glowing skin, and up to 3-5 times a day if you’re working on supporting a particular condition. There are few contraindications ~and other than that, it is gentle enough to take regularly for most people.
Anything I can do now to support my health naturally I am all about ~ prevention is the number one best medicine!
Be consistent in your efforts in order to experience results. It takes 5 days of consistent use to even BEGIN to affect the blood, and up to 25 days to begin to penetrate the whole system.
I make my daily turmeric tonic fresh, and store a concentrated version in the fridge to use over the course of a few days.
Haley’s original turmeric (& ginger) tonic:
Fresh turmeric
Fresh ginger
A bit of black pepper
2 or so cups of water
Twirl in the blender until it is as blended as possible.
Use 1/4 cup of this concentrate mixed with warm/hot water. Add a tsp raw honey and juice of half a lime or lemon.
Store the rest in a glass bottle in the fridge to enjoy each day.
On good days I drink this in the morning and evening. You could switch it up and omit the lemon in the eve but add it to the nutmilk of your choice with any other spices (nutmeg, cinnamon, cardamom) to make golden milk rasayana.
